Zanett and St. Vincent Health to Present New "Bridge to CPOE" Solution at HIMSS
NEW YORK, NY (February 22, 2010) - Zanett and St. Vincent Health will present a new healthcare information technology solution at the Microsoft Health Users Group Exchange, during HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society), on Sunday, February 28, 2010.
Zanett and St. Vincent Health have jointly developed the Clinical Online Delivery System (CODS) software to support standardized, evidence-based order sets at the point of care, arming doctors and clinicians with critical information to improve medication safety and patient care. CODS gives providers Web-based access to evidence-based clinical order sets and patient consent forms, and serves as an electronic storehouse and distribution system for each.

Recovery Act 'Meaningful Use' Definition Governing Electronic Health Records (EHR) Endorsed by Zanett; Government Stimulus Program Represents Substantial Opportunity

(NASDAQ: ZANE), a leading consulting firm specializing in serving Fortune 500 corporations and mid-market organizations in Health care, Life Sciences, Manufacturing & Distribution, Retail, Gaming & Hospitality, and State & Local Government, came out today in full support of the recently announced definition of "Meaningful Use" and the standards set for the use of certified Electronic Health Records (EHR). The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) issued a foundation for improving quality, efficiency and safety through meaningful use of certified electronic health record technology. The regulations will help implement the Electronic Health Records (EHR) incentive programs enacted under the 2009 Recovery Act.
